Every once and awhile, someone in the corporate world actually makes some intelligent comments that are worth the attention of the people. Yesterday, it was reported that John Angelos, VP of the Baltimore Orioles, made the following comments which I found to be very true and quite profound:
“Brett, speaking only for myself, I agree with your point that the principle of peaceful, non-violent protest and the observance of the rule of law is of utmost importance in any society. MLK, Gandhi, Mandela, and all great opposition leaders throughout history have always preached this precept. Further, it is critical that in any democracy investigation must be completed and due process must be honored before any government or police members are judged responsible.
That said, my greater source of personal concern, outrage and sympathy beyond this particular case is focused neither upon one night’s property damage nor upon the acts, but is focused rather upon the past four-decade period during which an American political elite have shipped middle class and working class jobs away from Baltimore and cities and towns around the U.S. to third-world dictatorships like China and others, plunged tens of millions of good hard-working Americans into economic devastation, and then followed that action around the nation by diminishing every American’s civil rights protections in order to control an unfairly impoverished population living under an ever-declining standard of living and suffering at the butt end of an ever-more militarized and aggressive surveillance state.
The innocent working families of all backgrounds whose lives and dreams have been cut short by excessive violence, surveillance, and other abuses of the Bill of Rights by government pay the true price, an ultimate price, and one that far exceeds the importance of any kids’ game played tonight, or ever, at Camden Yards. We need to keep in mind people are suffering and dying around the U.S., and while we are thankful no one was injured at Camden Yards, there is a far bigger picture for poor Americans in Baltimore and everywhere who don’t have jobs and are losing economic civil and legal rights, and this makes inconvenience at a ball game irrelevant in light of the needless suffering government is inflicting upon ordinary Americans.”
The first part of his statement I might agree and disagree. The rule of law is not what other men put down, as their laws are not really important if they violate the natural law. The natural law which God set forth is the same for everyone, and government is the cause of most of the social problems. Everyone is responsible for themselves before God, and government is not capable to take the place of God. Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding who is going to be for dinner. Democracy is a failed political system as it does not respect anyone's natural rights. Obviously, there must be "due process"; however, the truth is that in the legal system, people get "processed" but not in a way that is fair or impartial. In this case, the facts show that 6 thugs called policemen, destroyed a man's body by severing 80% of his spine. This kind of injury only comes from intentional physical abuse. And that's really what "law enforcement" is all about.
Opposition leaders preach nonviolence, yet I have to look at the results and see even that doesn't work. And when government officials abuse their discretion and so-called "authority", they will invarible cause the social problems. The abuses by police are easy to see and the fact is that these policemen are not capable of doing anything good. They will pander to the crowds by telling them to be quiet and peaceful, as they continue to beat people to a pulp. The natural reaction to such abuse is going to be violent. So if the government wants people to stop being violent, they should set the example. But govtards are too arrogant in their evil and stupidity to do anything right and all of them are complete screw-ups.
Which leads us to the rest of Angelos comments about the destruction of the economy in the last 40 years. I remember back in the early 90s when the idea of NAFTA (North Americal Free Trade Agreement) and the WTO (World Trade Organization) came into being. People like myself were opposed to it as it would put American businesses in a bad position if they didn't follow the rest and move their businesses to Mexico and offshore. The reason for this move was to be competitive because of the cheaper labor costs. But I think it was more than that as it now appears that the communist bankers and govtards intentionally destroyed the economy and ruined the poor and the middle class. Even college grads have a difficult time finding work to pay off their student loans. Even so-called conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and many other supported NAFTA. Which tells me that these guys were more socialists and they apper to be false opposition. These stupid agreements happened under Bill Clinton's watch, but he was supported by George H.W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Geraled Ford, and Ronald Reagan. The NAFTA was supposed to be a great deal, but everyone got the shaft. And if NAFTA was so good, why are so many Mexicans wanting to come to the United States? The manufacturing companies moved out of the cities and towns and milliions were left without jobs. Without the proper economic opportunities, these young people are going to get into trouble. But the real culprits in the Baltimore riots are the cops. They started it. It's only natural that there would be a violent reaction. If you keep twisting someone's nose, the blood will flow.
Angelo is correct in the way he describes "needless suffering" by government on Americans. Government is the problem and the problems would be solved in the government would just close up shop. It is too expensive, too destructive, and uses up too many resources to be of any value to anyone. People should learn to be more responsible for themselves, but they need to keep all of the money that they earn; however, they can't do any of it without job opportunities. But none of that can occur until businesses return to the cities and make their products locally. In order for that to happen, government would have to shut down and get out of the way. The rioting is they symptom of a greater problem that underlies the whole social system. Better to replace it with natural law which God established.
Govtards are the modern day Bolsheviks and they rob from the poor and middle class; even the rich.
- They control the banking system
- They control "law enforcement"
- Military
- Education
- Tax property
- Manipulate the agricultural industry
- Send jobs and businesses offshore
- They tax the snot out of the poor and middle class..even the rich get shafted
- They send men into one war after another for no righteous reason
- But the big thing is that they have a monopoly on violence-Govtards are thugs
That's just the way it is and it should change so that everyone has the opportunity to work and support their families. The end game for a Bolshevik is death and hell and they are bringing it to everyone at a very rapid pace.
None of this will be resolved until mankind maintains a higher moral standard. Evil people will get evil government; it's a part of the payback that God distributes. This cannot be denied. We are all paying for our evil deeds, and innocent people also suffer from the recompense. Government, as we know it today is amoral and it is useless in providing for a peaceful society; better to put it on the trash heap of history and replace it with the natural law which God created. It is much easier to use. Government is man's pathetic attempt to replace the God who created us all with the false god called the state.
